DESCRIPTION

Pierre Jeanneret “Easy Armchair” PJ-SI-29-A, circa 1955-1956.
Model designed for various administrative buildings in the city of Chandigarh, India. These particular chairs were from the Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. The letters and numbers on the back, showing which part of the school the chairs were made for, are still intact, adding to the rarity.
Cushions in nubuck leather.
